Welcome!
Founded in January of 2010, the South Jersey Fermentation Club (formerly Barley Legal Homebrewers) welcomes all levels of enthusiasts: from beginner hobbyist to Certified Beer Judges to professionals in the industry.
We welcome everyone with an interest in the art, science, process, history, and community of beer, mead, cider, and other fermented foods and beverages. We host educational presentations, food and beverage competitions, social events, and fundraisers with proceeds going to local charities.
Meetings: First Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM
Be sure to check the Calendar for Upcoming Meetings, as we often meet at other locations.
We encourage members to bring samples of their homebrew to our meetings for feedback or just to share!

In person meetings are back!
We are once again meeting in person! Please check the Upcoming Meetings on the Club calendar for the latest information on where we are meeting. Not a member yet? Feel free to show up and introduce yourself!
We will follow whatever protocol or rules apply for New Jersey and the brewery or venue where we meet. Please respect the staff and others who will be present.
